L’Oreal Color Juice Gloss is the exact same as Lancome Juicy Tubes. Except the first one is half the price.
Also, if there’s a ‘men’s line’ of skincare products, they are often the same product but can cost less (and usually are fragrance free).

I actually read a piece in Real Simple, which was about what was worth splurging on. Things like shampoo and face wash were things one could buy cheaper, and items that actually spend a long time in contact with your skin and hair were worth spending more on.
Andrea - I would definnitely agree with that, you don’t want to be buying poorer quality lotions in an attempt to save money. The idea I was driving at in the Festival of Frugality highlight post was that two products were chemically the same despite having differing prices, so if you bought the more expensive product you were overpaying.
It would be nice if there were a comprehensive list… :)
